From my heart to your head.

Brothers and Sisters, Friends and Foes, Indifferent and Concerned,

I have called this letter prophesy but this is not a letter of predicting future events. Anyone expecting that should probably send me a nasty note and leave the page/site.

What this is is
the word put in my heart to guide those who are willing and to annoy those who are not.

You will see what I find in the Bible, the Quran, the Bhagavad Gita, the Book of the Dead, The Book of Rites, and various other scriptures of various beliefs but I will primarily quote books that most people recognize and can easily research.

Mine is not my own nor is my own attributable to me.

Mine is a heart of submission so it will not sit well with those who advocate

creating their own space
excluding the "haters"
mingling with winners to become a winner
reading only what lifts you up.

The chronicle of the year to come.

It is the wisdom of The Christ, Buddha, and Mohammed that it is not in becoming your best self that you enter into the pleasure of the One in All. Rather it is in submission to others less than yourself that you become the better self you seek. The better self you seek is only better in relation to the good that you do for the world.

Do not worry that your good deeds seem to have no impact on the world. Let the One Who is Creation be the judge.

It was an unusual year.

the first time it has closed above 26,000.
Feb 5 - The Dow suffers its worst intra-day trading loss,
plummeting 1,597 points.

Jan 11 - During a White House meeting on immigration reform, President Donald Trump reportedly refers to Haiti and African nations as "shithole countries."
Jan 12 - The Wall Street Journal reports that President Donald Trump had an alleged affair with a porn star named Stephanie Clifford, aka Stormy Daniels.

Jan 27 - The Taliban claims responsibility for an ambulance packed with explosives detonates in Kabul, Afghanistan, 103 people dead more than 150 others injured
Feb 14 - A former student opens fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, killing 17 people.
Feb 19-25 - 520 people are killed during airstrikes in Eastern Ghouta
Mar 2-20 - Five package bombs explode killing two people and wounding five in Austin, Texas.
Mar 2 - 8 people are killed and more than 80 are injured in two attacks in Burkina Faso's capital
Mar 23 - ISIS supporter Radouane Lakdim, 26, opens fire in a supermarket in Trèbes, France killing a worker and a customer.
May 18 - Dimitrios Pagourtzis, 17, allegedly opens fire killing 10 and injuring 13 at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas.
Jun 19 - Antwon Rose II, an unarmed 17-year-old, is shot and killed by police officer Michael Rosfeld in East Pittsburgh.
Jun 16 - 17 people are killed after a partygoer detonates a tear-gas canister inside a nightclub in Caracas, Venezuela
Jul 16 - 149 people are killed and 186 are injured in a suicide attack in Pakistan
Jun 28 - 5 people are killed and 2 are injured when a gunman opens fire on the newsroom of the Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland.
Oct 5 - Officer Jason Van Dyke is found guilty of second-degree murder in the 2014 shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald.
Oct 26 - Cesar Sayoc, the man suspected of sending 14 pipe bombs to prominent Democrats around the country, is arrested.
Oct 27 - 11 people are killed at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh when a gunman opens fire.
Nov 7 - 12 people are killed in a shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California
Jul 29 - ISIS claims responsibility for attack on 4 cyclists - Killing all 4
Dec 11 - A gunman opens fire at the Strasbourg, France Christmas market, killing 5 people.
Dec 16 - An explosion near a pub in the northern Japanese city of Sapporo injures 42 people

May 7 - US Attorney General Jeff Sessions announces a "zero tolerance" policy for illegal border crossings. Sessions says that parents could be separated from children. Cites Bible to support
June 15 - The US Department of Homeland Security confirms that the US government has separated almost 2,000 children from parents at the border since implementing a policy that results in such family separations.
Dec 31 At least seven children are known to have died in immigration in 2018

Nov 8 - the most destructive wildfire in California history, breaks out, burning through the town of Paradise, California.
Dec 22 - 426 people are killed when a tsunami hits the Sunda Strait in Indonesia.

Jun 23 - Twelve members of Thailand's Wild Boars youth soccer team and their coach enter the Tham Luang cave network, only to be trapped by rising flood waters. A team of international cave diving experts work to retrieve them, evacuating the boys one-by-one. The last of the group, the coach, successfully exits the cave on July 10.

Nov 6 - A record 102 women win seats in the House of Representatives.
